 Hi there, Glad you stopped by.  I know hundreds of different marketing techniques.  And I'm a pro at figuring out which ones work best for my clients.  In fact, I'm known as The Marketing Diva.  Got questions?  Let me see if I can anticipate some of them...


          WHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO MARKET MY BUSINESS ON THE INTERNET?


Good question. . .Over the past thiry years, I've started a number of businesses and I had to learn marketing from the "ground up."  I've also worked for a number of businesses and had to develop marketing for my own department or for the company as a whole.  I've studied everything about marketing that I could get my hands on.  I've attended workshops and seminars with some of the best marketers in the country.  During the past few years, I've added books, articles, and seminars on specific Internet marketing strategies.  I've got a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a graduate degree from East Texas State University.  Even though my degrees are in Education and Counseling, I've taken numerous college courses in art and design, photography, and business.  While working at the local college, I discovered Web Design and started producing websites for my department and as a volunteer for a number of other entities.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THIS FIELD?

My interest in getting into the business of marketing and web design all started with an employer who needed a professional website.  I helped him find a company who really produced a "beautiful" site and we thought that was what it was all about.  After spending a few years paying the fees for this website, we realized that it was basically an expensive brochure.  So, we started shopping for a web company who could really understand our business and help us develop a site that was not only "pretty," but client friendly and could help us market the business.  I interviewed a number of companies and couldn't really find what I thought we needed.

Therefore, I decided that would be my next business.  I ended up as a franchisee of a web production company.  The production company does the programming and other technical "stuff" and I use my marketing and design skills to develop the "front end."  I have read books and attended seminars and found out who the masters were and emulated them.  I taught myself everything I could about the things that make a good Web Site while working in the field and I've been doing it ever since.  I can put together a professional-looking site that actually WORKS for your business or professional practice.

WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT MY WEBSITE?

Well, your website describes what you do.  That's very important to your target audience.  Your website can also persuade the site visitor to take some sort of action, whether you're there or not.  And that's where the sales happen and the relationship begins.  What really makes a good website invaluable, is its ability to build a lasting relationship with your potential clients.

As a business person, you no doubt know that repeat business is your lifeblood.  And I'm sure you look at the “lifetime value” of your customer.  Well, a good website helps groom that relationship.  It's friendly and informative.  It establishes rapport between your business and your customer.  It can help grow trust and loyalty.  It deepens the connection between you and your target audience.  Once you have that bond, you don't have to bother convincing them how great your product or service is.  They're READY to sign up!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO DEVELOP MY SITE?

Of course, the answer depends largely on what we're doing.  In general I like to have a couple of months to work.  Of course, if your project is quite extensive, I may need to add on another month.  That gives me time to do the research and get a feel for the best approach.  Plus I'll have time to edit and rewrite your web copy.   I realize you can't always wait this long.  In that case, just tell me your absolute deadline.  If I take on the job, I guarantee you'll have a top quality website, on time.

          HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Here's where I have to bring up the old adage.  It's not going to COST you money.  It's going to MAKE you money.  When your site is uploaded to the Internet, you suddenly have a global presence.  Potential customers read about your business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  They'll be enticed to work with you (or buy from you).  You won't have to say a word.   With good copy and design, you can be building relationships or making money while you're sleeping or picking your kids up from school.  And I develop a good site.  I'll describe what you do and persuade the reader to take some action.  Hand your web site development off to me, and put your focus back on your business, where it belongs!
